jjang (짱): an expression meaning “best” or “awesome”

Sab was born in Seoul, but has found a home in Chicago with her chocolate lab, Harvey. Her professional journey started in advertising at DDB as an Art Director, working for leading Fortune 500 brands.

Craving a more personal connection to her work and to her clients, she pivoted to a sustainable CPG startup, where she fell in love with working with small brands. This planted the seed to pursue freelancing, with a focus on collaborating with small, consumer-facing businesses.

Working for notable clients such as State Farm, Big Lots, Miller Lite, and Capital One, as well as with scrappy, purpose-driven startups has led her to become the multifaceted & growth-minded creative she is today.

Success to Sab is wowing her clients- 짱이다 (jjangida). When she’s not designing, she’s climbing, failing at her reading goal, or thinking about her Roman Empire.
